The Mysterious Disappearance of Mary McMaster and Deborah Ernandez

Mary McMaster was last seen on May 3, 1983, by a family member at her home in Winnsboro, South Carolina. McMaster was known to family and friends as Mayte. It was reported that McMaster was with her friend Deborah Ernandez, who is also missing. Ernandez’s car was found abandoned and towed in Richland County.

Reportedly, McMaster’s car was not found.

According to the website, NamUs, Mayte was five feet and four inches tall, weighed approximately 125 pounds, and had blonde/strawberry hair.

It has been 42 years since they disappeared, and someone knows what happened to them.
