On November 29, 1986, 16-year-old Kristina Porco walked out of her residence at the Woodlake Villas in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
It was reported on the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office website that Porco left after a domestic dispute in the family’s apartment and never returned. It further added that a female friend received a call from Porco after the argument, asking her to meet at the pool at her apartment complex. When the friend arrived, she was unable to find Kristina Porco, but did find Porco’s red sweater draped over a lawn chair.
We do know that Kristina left on foot with no money or extra clothes. After her disappearance, her savings account contained a few hundred dollars, but was never accessed.
Kristina Porco remains missing.
