Sharon was last seen on May 2, 1998, at approximately 6:30 a.m. at her residence. Medlin was in the vicinity of the 20 block of N. Rutherford Road in Greer, South Carolina. Her husband left their home to grab food, and when he returned, she was gone.
Medlin was supposed to have met a friend in Atlanta, Georgia, that day, but she never arrived. Her vehicle and all of her personal belongings were left behind, except her cell phone. Since her disappearance, there has been no activity from her phone and reportedly none from her financial accounts.
Her son reported her missing on May 6.
Medlin’s disappearance remains unsolved.
