The Cold Case of Sharonda Sims

Sharonda Sims was found murdered on September 17, 2019, as she walked home in Newberry County, South Carolina. Sims was reportedly ambushed and found less than a mile from her house on Drayton Street. She was just 40 years old at the time of her death.

According to a post from 2022 on the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, “A security camera caught a portion of the shooting as SIMS was walking down the road going home, which was just about three blocks away. Due to the distance of the security camera and the roadway not being well-lit, the muzzle flash from the gun is all that is visible.”

Someone knows something about this case; maybe that person is you.
