Stuckey’s Bridge in Mississippi is located 12 miles southwest of Meridian. The bridge is a dilapidated truss-style bridge that crosses the Chunky River. According to legend, a member of the infamous Dalton Gang named “Stuckey: owned a nearby inn or visited that inn frequently, where he would rob and murder the guests, burying them along the riverbank.

After twenty people were murdered, Stuckey was caught and hanged from the bridge. Rumors of Stuckey Haunting the bridge still exist to this day, and some have claimed to have seen his spirit carrying a lantern in hand along the river’s edge, and seeing his lifeless body hanging from the bridge.
