The Witch of Nash Road is one of Mississippi’s scariest legends. It is said the witch is only seen rarely, but she is easily recognizable. There are, of course, deviations to the tale to account for her extra appendage. The ghostly tale is also referred to as the “Three-Legged Lady of Nash Road.”
One of the most common tales claims that her mother disappeared, and all that was found was the leg, so the old witch used black magic to attach it to herself.
If you should find yourself on this road, and happen to see her, stay AWAY! She is known to torment drivers by chasing their vehicles down the dark road.
