It’s been 12 years since the disappearance of Wesley McNinch of Chester County, SC.
He was last heard from on March 8, 2013. He was walking in the woods to a relative’s house while speaking on the phone with his mother, Lori McNinch. He then talked to his cousin and told him he was lost and to please honk the horn. McNinch never made it to his cousin’s house.
At that time, search parties, including firefighters, rescue teams, community volunteers, and sheriffs, searched for three days; however, a hard rain potentially disrupted the trail.
McNinch was 23 at the time of his disappearance 12 years ago. He is described as tall, standing at 6 feet, 1 inch, and weighing 140 pounds. He has several tattoos and suffers from seizures without his medication.
If you’ve seen him or have any information about his disappearance, please call the Chester County Sheriff’s Office at 803-581-5131.
