Gaffney, South Carolina, located in Cherokee County, is one of the most haunted counties in the state, behind only Abbeville and Charleston, and is home to the iconic Peachoid that greets visitors on I-85.
The most fascinating aspect of this area is the numerous bridges that are reportedly paranormal hotspots. But one bridge in the downtown area is just as eerie and spooky as all of the others we have written about.
The T-Bridge may not seem like a place where specters come out to play at night. Still, according to many online sources, it falls into the same paranormal category as the Gervais Street Bridge in Columbia, the Poinsett Bridge, and even the Cry Baby Bridge in Anderson.

A ghostly legend claims that the overpass bridge is haunted by a woman who walks it at night, carrying a basket. When approached, she disappears into thin air. Even the Gaffney Ledger covered this story on October 28, 2022.
It is also said to have a ghost car that will chase you if you run across it, suddenly appearing behind you with no one inside.
With just 70 days until the beginning of fall. Now is the perfect time to get your scare on and plan for a spooky season of haunts and road trips.
