Here Comes the Brides: All Dressed in Death

Georgetown is the third-oldest city in South Carolina, and it is also a perfect blend of history and a wealth of paranormal activity.

Two cemeteries on Broad Street are said to be haunted by two best friends, Pauline Moses and Eliza Munnerlyn, who were set to wed their best friends on the same day.

The two planned for the perfect wedding in October 1885 and had worked all summer sewing their beautiful white dresses.

Unfortunately, they would never make it to the altar after both fell ill from Malaria and met the grim reaper before they could say I do.

They are laid to rest at the Beth Elohim Cemetery, with the other buried at Prince George Winyah Churchyard, across the street, in their dresses for eternity. According to HammockCoastSc, they continue to walk amongst the living and still haunt the premises today.
