According to the Greenville, South Carolina, Police Department’s website, the case of Terry “Dale” Fetner remains unsolved.
The online case states, “Dale Fetner was a recently divorced man living in the city of Greenville. Mr. Fetner owned a contracting business called Renovations by Dale.”
“At the time of his murder, he was living in an apartment at Azalea Hills on Greenville’s east side. He was living there because his home had recently been suspiciously damaged by fire.”
“On Sunday, November 26, 2000, Mr. Fetner returned to his apartment after spending the day working on a mountain home in Saluda, NC. Before he was able to enter his apartment, he was attacked at his front door. Dale Fetner was stabbed multiple times and succumbed to his wounds.”

It has been almost 25 years since Mr. Fetner came home to his apartment on November 26, 2000, and was viciously attacked. The person responsible for his death has never been brought to justice. He was only 44 years old at the time.
