Erlanger, Kentucky, is located in the northern part of the state, but it has a unique ghost story associated with it.
Legend has it that during the 1950s, an officer of the law was patrolling Narrows Road when he was struck by a car and killed. Even in the afterlife, this officer is still on duty along this stretch of road.
The phantom police officer has reportedly pulled people over at night. Drivers see the lights behind them as they pull over, awaiting the officer. But, as he walks to the driver’s window, he mysteriously disappears.
