Roy’s Diamond Center, located at 108 S. Main Street in Galax, Virginia, was formerly the Blue Ridge Lines bus station. The site is tied to another ghostly legend.
On a foggy night many years ago, a woman stepped from a bus for a cigarette, but she tripped over luggage and stumbled into the street, and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Years later, a driver claimed to have hit a woman in the same spot. The driver felt the impact but found no one there. Instead, a freezing wind rushed through his truck, and the smell of a stale cigarette lingered inside.

It’s been suggested that the spirit of the woman, who met her untimely demise on the streets of Galax on that night, still haunts the area.
