The Disappearance of 4-year-old Tristan or Tristen Alan “Buddy” Myers

Buddy Myers was just 4 years old when he mysteriously disappeared as he left his home on Microwave Tower Road in Roseboro, North Carolina. Buddy reportedly took two dogs for a walk and never returned on Thursday, October 5, 2000. The dogs did eventually return to the residence: a tan Chihuahua and a black Doberman puppy.

At the time of his disappearance, Myers was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

An article from WRAL News on July 12, 2024, stated, “Authorities said Buddy’s great aunt Donna, his guardian, took a nap while the boy took two small dogs on a walk.”

It further added that Buddy’s mother tragically passed away in 2004 in Fayetteville, and later his great aunt also passed.

Al Mignacci, who is a volunteer on the case, also reported in the same article, “I think he was probably taken because the area was thoroughly investigated.”

Buddy Myers would be 29 years old today. Have you seen him?
