The NC Cold Case of Deborah Gail Nunnery

On Sunday, October 26, 1997, in the early morning hours, the body of Deborah Gail Nunnery was found on the roadway of Underwood Road in Clinton, North Carolina. It was reported that Deborah would sometimes stay with her parents, but she also had her residence in the Quail Run Trailer Park in Roseboro.

Nunnery was last seen at her parents’ house earlier that Sunday. Deborah was just 40 years old at the time of her death and had a son. She is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, with blue eyes and brown hair. Nunnery was last seen wearing a long-sleeve brown shirt and blue jeans. It was also stated that Nunnery had asthma but would walk for exercise.

To date, no one has been arrested for Deborah’s murder.
