Greenville is a special place, stacked full of history, with some eternal residents who decided to keep the party going well after their deaths. One mansion at 106 Dupont Drive, built between 1919 and 1925, is said to be haunted by the ghost of Walter Gassaway, who decided to take his life into his own hands in 1929 on the front lawn of the residence when the stock market crashed and burned.

Unfortunately, Mr. Gassaway could never depart from his beloved estate. Rumor says that he still walks the halls and grounds today.
