Donna Barnhill was just 13 years old at the time of her disappearance when she left her family’s residence in Lexington, North Carolina, to go to a nearby friend’s home. Barnhill vanished on the afternoon of March 18, 1981, and 44 years later, her family and friends are still looking for answers. A billboard on Highway 64 was added earlier this year, seeking information.
Like the other cold cases, someone knows what happened to Donna Barnhill on that spring evening in the early 1980s; maybe that person is you.

If you have information, please get in touch with the Lexington Police Department at 336- 243-3302
