Malakia “Kia” Logan’s life ended tragically at just eight years old, when she mysteriously vanished from a park near her apartment in Greenwood, South Carolina, on May 15, 1988. The case seemed to be heading in the right direction within that vital first 48 hours, but things slowed.
Unfortunately, Kia’s remains were found two years later by a deer hunter. Today, the case remains cold.
It is believed that Kia Logan was abducted on that spring day in May.
