Bayou Sale Road is one of the most haunted roads in Louisiana. The roadway is a long, winding, and dark stretch between Dulac and Cocodrie. Many travelers have claimed to have encountered a ghostly female hitchhiker, who reportedly causes wrecks when she reaches out to touch vehicles as they pass by.
