One haunted place in South Carolina that doesn’t get much attention but should is a very spooky bridge with a dark past. Devenger Road Bridge in Taylors, South Carolina, is one of the best-kept secrets in the paranormal circle. Local legend says a woman and her children were killed on Halloween night many years ago, when the mother stopped to fetch something from the trunk of the car and was struck by a truck. The entire family died in the collision. Today, if you stop on the bridge and put your tires in a specific spot, your vehicle will be pushed back. Other strange occurrences have also occurred on the bridge.
Even in death, the mother continues to keep watch over her children.
