Todd Kolhepp and the 2003 Superbike Murders

On November 6, 2003, the unthinkable occurred in Chesnee, South Carolina, when four people were killed at Superbike Motorsports. The case remained as cold as ice for 13 years, until a local serial killer confessed to the horrific slayings.

The killings provoked much fear, not only in Spartanburg County, but also in neighboring counties in the state. Eventually, in 2016, Todd Kolhepp confessed to the crime and claimed to have murdered the employees because they “embarrassed him and refused him a refund.

Kolhepp’s terror reign officially ended on November 3, 2016, shortly after a victim was found inside a metal storage container on his property in Moore, South Carolina.

In all, Kolhepp killed 7, with two survivors, but many believe that he is responsible for more.

Today, Todd Kolhepp is imprisoned at the Broad River Correctional Institution in Columbia. His killing spree is forever carved into South Carolina’s haunted history.
