Built in 1929 by Earle W. Webb, the Webb Memorial Public Library in Morehead City, North Carolina, is reportedly one of the area’s most haunted locations.
The Webb family’s home was previously used as a commercial space until 1936, when it was converted to public use following the death of the Webb family’s son. It was first home to doctors’ offices on the first floor and a garment factory upstairs.
The ghost of a little girl, Abigail, and others are believed to be inside, and her spirit is said to be seen in the building.
I believe the building is now closed.
