Lake Lyman is a 350-acre lake that serves as a popular boating destination, event space, and recreational spot near Spartanburg, South Carolina. By night, it turns into a haunted paradise. According to Visit Spartanburg, Legend has it that a party hosted at Lake Lyman once took a grim turn. A woman was viciously assaulted during the attack and murdered. Unable to reach her final resting place, those down by the lake around midnight have reported hearing her screams. Others have seen a faint glowing light over in the trees. No one knows who the young lady who met her untimely death that night was, but she still haunts the premises.
