The beautiful and historic C.E. Corley House at 808 South Lake Drive in Lexington, South Carolina, was built by Charles Edward Corley in 1895, according to the National Register of Historic Places, and is a well-maintained Queen Anne-style dwelling. Some online sites have the home constructed in 1892. Locals remember the house as The Cinnamon Hill House Restaurant, a spot renowned for fine dining and celebrating special occasions.

Some online sites say the old home may even have a ghost or two on the second floor. “Allegedly, when the house was a restaurant, a group of diners once took a photo and found an apparition had joined their party” (Cola Today).
Today, a law firm occupies the space. The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
