Is The Former Army & Navy store in Greenville Haunted

One of the oldest downtown buildings, the old Greenville Army & Navy store at 660 S. Main Street, is said to be haunted by the original owner. Veteran Harry Zaglin opened the store in 1946 and passed away in 1995, leaving the business to his son, Jeff. His son ultimately relocated to Laurens Road. It’s said the elder Zaglin didn’t like change, with many reporting paranormal activity in the South Main Street location after he died.

Some have heard disembodied voices say, “Get out! We’re closed,” and “Come back next week.” Other paranormal activities in the building include boots that move independently, flashing lights, and a drawer that refuses to stay closed.
Recently, the old space underwent a three-million-dollar facelift, but the old sign still hangs above the doors.
